Munich, although cosmopolitan and modern, still retains a somehow small-town feel as their inhabitants are known for being more easygoing and open than Germans from other regions. Beer gardens and plenty of outdoor lifestyle are found profusely around here. Of course, the city's activity peaks at Okctoberfest when several million visitors party and have fun together having about the same million litres of beer!

Munich is also known for being the hometown of one of the European's top football clubs and also the headquarters of a prestigious and luxury automotive global brand.

Besides, Bavaria's capital, has an amazing Alpine background at its doorstep which certainly has it's influence on the character of the town and the people. The Bavarian Alps are indeed rich in natural beauty with endless lakes and fairy tale castles making their dramatic appearance high in the middle of dense green forests.
